Last week was amazing. We played Rockwood music hall and had a great experience at the SESAC showcase. The room sounded pristine and the crowd had enormous energy. Thanks to everyone that came out!!! We also did an interview with ³On the Beat² hosted by Valentine Leone. It will broadcast on timewarner soon and then be on ³timewarner on demand.² Will update you.

2007 Recap
The biggest news of the year is the self-titled NEW EP released at the beginning of 2008. It¹s got four sultry tracks: Runaway, Weaver, Crazy Sorrows and Never Say Goodbye.

Churton and the band performed many times around NYC at great clubs such as The Cutting Room, The Bitter End, The Knitting Factory, R-Bar, Parkside Lounge, Otto¹s Shrunken Head, Carlitos Cafe Ey Galeria, The College of New Jersey- The RathsKeller, Stain Bar and Manna Dew Cafe.

In the virtual world we recruited somewhere in the neigborhood of 3300 friends on myspace and put our music up on itunes. "So if you don¹t know, Now you know."

My good friend Wes Simpkins is throwing a party at Stain Bar in Williamsburg. I will be playing a softer solo gig around 9:00 or so. It will be a great time. The EP is coming along and we are almost ready to start having people listen to it. Itís been a long trek since recording it in June, but I am very happy with the results and I canít wait for you to hear it. Rod and I ventured to the upper upper East for a show at Carlitoís on Saturday. We performed for the locals and while drinking Negro Modello. Thanks to Dave Yules and Dave Crespo for playing as well. It was great time!

Currently MC is excited to be working on his upcoming EP. He has been quoted as saying "This EP could reinvent sliced bread." He will be recording at Bushwick Studios in Brooklyn with Josh Kessler in June. An oustanding lineup is slated to record with Rod Rodriguez on guitar, Tyler Mauney on Bass and Sean Barry on Drums. The schedule released date is August 30th. Check the video of the cutting room perfomances to see and hear them in action.
